Dr. Reese Harrison is proud to continue a family legacy of dentistry as a 4th-generation Bay County native and one of seven dentists in his extended family. For more than 23 years, Dr. Harrison has been serving patients across the Florida Panhandle with a focus on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry that blends advanced training with genuine compassion.

After earning both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Dr. Harrison opened his first private practice in Lynn Haven in 2000. Today, as the founder of Legacy Dental Studio in Watersound, FL, he provides a boutique, patient-centered dental experience for families and individuals along the scenic 30A corridor—including Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and surrounding communities.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Harrison has been a dedicated advocate for dentistry in the Florida Panhandle, representing both the profession and the patients it serves. His philosophy is simple: every smile deserves time, technology, and true comfort.

Dr. Harrison and his wife, Mara—his high school sweetheart—make their home in Watersound Origins, where they raise their three daughters and stay actively involved in the local community.

With a strong background in business operations and team management, Marilyn keeps the practice organized while ensuring patients always feel comfortable and cared for.

A longtime part of the 30A community, Marilyn grew up visiting her family home in Inlet Beach and moved back to the area 12 years ago after raising her boys in Atlanta. Today she is a proud mother of three sons and a daughter-in-law, and she is known for her approachable nature, warmth, and ability to make patients feel like part of the Legacy Dental family.

Kristi Cardwell, CRDH, QOM

Kristi Cardwell brings over 20 years of clinical experience as a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist to Legacy Dental Studio. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, Kristi is passionate about providing the highest standard of care to patients along 30A and in the Watersound community.

She takes a gentle, personalized approach—addressing individual concerns, creating strategies to ease dental anxiety, and promoting both oral health and overall well-being. Kristi values the opportunity to build long-lasting patient relationships and help families maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Kristi and her husband live in Santa Rosa Beach with their two children, where they stay busy traveling together and supporting their children’s competitive sports.

With more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, Heather Aiken is a highly skilled Certified and Registered Dental Assistant at Legacy Dental Studio. In addition to general chairside assisting, she has specialized training in sleep medicine and the holistic SMART protocol for safe amalgam removal, ensuring patients receive both advanced and conscientious care.

Heather has proudly called Panama City Beach home since 2012. She is a devoted mom to two boys and a beloved fur baby, and enjoys the simple joys of coastal living—whether it’s spending time on the beach, creating memories with family, or enjoying the friendships she’s built along the Emerald Coast.
